Static Map KML fileFrom Ng Tung Chai to Man Tak Garden
From Ng Tung Chai bus stop, along Lam Kam Road go back a few steps, there is a road to Man Tak Garden on the right at the junction. Follow it up, then turn right at the first junction. Afterward, take the right fork at the second junction. Along the way, Ng Tung Chai village is on your left and the hill of Tai To Yan is towering behind you. Beyond the sylvan path, you could listen the murmur of the brook in the valley. In the quiet and secluded environment, the nature shows the vitality. Passing through the archway, it comes to Man Tak Garden. You could also visit it.
Bottom Fall and Middle Fall
Take the sylvan path ahead at the left of the entry of Man Tak Garden. Beyond a small waterfall, go ahead at the junction with a map board. Turning right could climb up Tai Mo Shan or directly go up to Scatter Fall. Along the trail, it gently ascends and winds through verdant woods with the stream. The strong aura of nature seems to be surrounded you. Afterward, take the left side path at the junction leading down to Bottom Fall.

Bottom Fall is the shortest one of the others there, however, its water is very transparent. Moreover, under the dusky light of the valley, it seems to be in the deep of the mountain. There is also a space for rest. Afterward, go back to the junction of the main trail, then turn left to go uphill. After about ten minutes walk, it arrives at Middle Fall. Its sound could be listened in the distance. It is spectacular for the rapid flow of waters turbulently tumbling over cascades. In summer, the spray and the rised cool breeze make you fresh and cool.
Main Fall
From Middle Fall, join back to the main trail. It starts a longer, steep and narrow sylvan path uphill. Along the way, you could look up Main Fall far. Winding up and passing through some streams, it leads to Main Fall.
Main Fall is in a height of 30 meters with a slim shape. Its water flow is quite slow. In contrast to the majesty of Middle Fall, Main Fall is more pretty. Because there is a larger space for stopover with a brook, a small pond and a lookout, it sometimes attracts peoples to there.
Exit: You could retrace your way to Lam Kam Road if do not go to Scatter Fall.
Scatter Fall
Follow the rough path on the left, beyond the warning post head it uphill. As it occurred a landslip, the pathway is covered with loose gravel and curshed rocks in part. It would require to clamber up according to the ribbons bound on roadside plants as marks for guidance. Up ahead, it leads to Scatter Fall.
Note: It is not suitable for running this section of the path in rainy day.
As named in chinese, its shape is like flyaway hair of a girl as white hair covering on the rock. Return to and head the path, it comes to the junction of the main path to Tai Mo Shan. According to the signpost, follow the main path to the right down to Lam Kam Road. Pass through Man Tak Garden and retrace the way to Lam Kam Road.
Summary
There are impressive for the majestic natural scenery from the waterfalls with various patterns and forms which are grand, dynamic and even pretty, and also for the feeling of primitive forest, the streams and the mountain.
