The MacLehose Trail is the longest country trail at 100 kilometre long for hiking in Hong Kong. It begins from Pak Tam Chung in Sai Kung, winds west to Kowloon's peaks, turn north to Shing Mun Reservoir, and swings west towards Tuen Mun, runing through eight country parks of Hong Kong. Along the trail, it offers many stunning views over the indented coastlines, the peculiar rocks, the sunrise and sunset, and even the grand rolling hills.
