Start: Minibus 80 from Chuen Lung St. to the terminal, Bus 51 from Tsuen Wan West MTR get off at Chuen Lung Station.
End: Minibus 71 from Ho Pui Village to Yuen Long Town

You could follow Kap Lung Ancient Trail or Kap Lung Forest Trail downhill to Lui Kung Tin.

Rotary Club Park Nature Trail
The trail begins by following Route Twisk keeping to the right side uphill from the minibus terminal of Chuen Lung. Heading not far, it joins Rotary Club Park Nature Trail on the right. Ascend the muddy path, it starts a flight of stone steps. Up to the lookout, it offers a distance view over Tsuen Wan. Up the trail, it turns gentle. In drizzle, the forests look more deep and luxuriant. Afterward, at the junction of Tai Mo Shan Hiking Practice Trail, it follows the left path. Crossing the stream and passing Rotary Park Barbecue Site, it comes to the car park at Tsuen Kam Au.
Kap Lung Forest Trail and Mountain Bike Trail
After passing through the car park and the snack counter, the trail follows Tai Mo Shan Road to the left until the junction of Route Twisk. Cross Route Twisk then head it to the right keeping to the left side. Through the barbecue site and the left junction of MacLehose Trail, still go ahead. It soon joins Kap Lung Forest Trail on the left, also the entry of the mountain bike trail, after passing the bus stop.
Along Kap Lung Forest Trail, it then slowly descends. Heading to the junciton of Kap Lung Ancient Trail, follow the left path that is gently down to end. Further heading the wooded path until the next junction, follow the left Mountain Bike Trail to the way to Ho Pui Reservoir according to the signpost. The right path could lead down to Lui Kung Tin village along Kap Lung Forest Trail. Along the bike trail, it slowly winds down along the hillside and crosses some streams. Drizzling in the mists, it likes a fantasyland around the hills. Rain moistens the earth and plants, the leaves therefore looks more green, the grasses and flowers more fragrant. The small light drops on the leaves are twinkling and translucent. Looking to the right on the way, you could overlook the broad plain of Kam Tin. Afterward, at the junction of the left path to Route Twisk, the trail follows the right path downhill. It slowly descends but is slightly steep in part until Ho Pui Reservior.
Exit: You could follow Kap Lung Ancient Trail or Kap Lung Forest Trail downhill to Lui Kung Tin.
Ho Pui Reservoir
Follow Ho Pui Reservoir Family Walk to the right, it leads to the curved dam. Because of the reservoir overflowing, the waters are running down rapidly from the top of the dam. The small reservoir is nestled with the lush woods under the rolling peaks. In the gloomy day, the small island in the reservoir seems to be lonely. Suddenly, the rain poured steadily down pitter-patter and the scene also became hazy. The spray moistened my face but made me fresh and cool. Afterward, passing through the dam, the trail follows the concrete path to the right. Gently down to the junction at Ho Pui Camp Site, trace the left path. Along the way, pay attention to the pathway on the right leading down to Ho Pui village, then head it to the minibus terminal of Ho Pui village.
Summary
Rambling in the nature in a rainy day, it offers the another scenes and feelings. In the gloomy setting among some of the mist, the sound of rain seems to be a natural symphony and the field of view become fuzzy. It is romantic but melancholy. In pouring rain, it seems to give you a moment venting to your moods. After the rain, it lets you become peaceful and relexed. When the sun appears, the dawn comes again.
