The trail starts by following Wilson Trail Section 10 from the junction of Luk Keng Road beside Nam Chung Public Toilet. Nam Chung Country Trail
Head the trail, it initially ascends the flight of stone steps then turns smooth and winds along the hillsides through the woods. Along the way, Sha Tau Kok and Luk Keng could be peeped. Afterward, you could gradually hear the gurgle. Further go ahead, it crosses the broad stream named Ping Nam Stream, one of the nine main streams in Hong Kong, which name means that it starts from Ping Fung Shan down to Nam Chung. The stream is quite broad, the waters in the pools are translucent to the bottoms. At that time, the water flows were not strong and separated into several branches, they were tamely and slowly lying on the rocks and going down. However it will becomes a very dangerous place after a storm. Crossing the stream, the trail turns steep. Further up, it crosses the stream again but its upstream become much narrower. Still being up to up, the path follows the long flight of steps and is gradually open up away from the thick woods.

After the straight up to the highest point of the country trail, it turns into the gentle descent. At that moment, the east ridge of the adjacent hill of Kwai Tau Leng could be seen at the front. Pass the left turn (near but before C2505), pay attention to the ribbons mark at the trees on the right side where is the entry of the side path leading to the east ridge. The path initially cuts through the thicket smoothly but it is partly obscure that need to indentify carefully even though sometimes there have the ribbon marks. Head to the junction, turn left (right to Hoi Pui Leng). Not far ahead, the path gradually ascends and become obvious. Along the way uphill, it passes through an abandoned grave by skirting it on the right upward. Afterward, the path sharply turns very steep that requires clambering. After the steep climb over the rocky slope, it mounts to the east secondary peak of Kwai Tau Leng.
Still follow the path, it is obvious but the shrubs are overgrown in part. Skirting to another side of the hill, the main peak could be seen at the front. The path slightly goes down then climbs to the hilltop of the main peak. Looking around, the grand mountain scenes feasts your eyes. Overlooking to the southeast, the hill ranges of Wong Leng linking Ping Fung Shan together are undulate to extend to the far, which hillsides are criss-crossed with ridges and gullies like surges on the sea. The hills of Ng Tung Shan, Hung Fa Leng and Hoi Pui Leng, from high to low like the chain after the chain, tower on the northeast.

Summary
It is impressive to the grand mountain scene of overlooking the range of Wong Leng, and the splendid view over Nam Chung and Luk Keng. However, in the condition of the "hazes" becoming thick and the climates becoming hot in everywhere, if one day the mountains are no longer green, the sea is no more blue, even the birds could not sing and then the nature turned barren hills and treacherous rapids, how the world is?
